Revised 05/02/09
I graduated from Northern Kentucky University in May 2010 with a degree in Geology and minors in Computer Science and Geography (GIS). I went to the University of Kentucky prior to attending NKU where I took classes in Mathematics and Computer Science. In the fall of 2010 I completed a GIS certificate program through Northern Kentucky University. I currently work as a spatial programmer providing spatially aware solutions to support and enhance cost models.

Photographs taken on field trips
A few pictures from Mt. St. Helens that I took while in Portland, OR for the 2009 annual GSA meeting.
Utah (Summer 2009) 06/01/2009Taken during a course intended to emphasize field paleontology methods and taphonomic studies. Sadly the weather prevented the course from proceeding smoothly, but there was still lots of "adventure".
Colorado (Summer 2009) 06/01/2009Taken during a two week Geology field camp at the Colorado School of Mines which focused on field methods and mapping techniques.
Pennsylvania (Spring 2009) 04/20/2009This was my second time around on this trip so there aren't many pictures. For more pictures and more locations see the previous Pennsylvania photo album.
Kentucky River Fault (Spring 2009) 03/22/2009Photographs of the Kentucky River Fault as seen in a roadcut along US-27 outside of Nicholasville, KY. There are multiple panoramas and photographs from inside the small cave that on the west side of the roadcut.
North Carolina (Fall 2008) 03/22/2009The SD card in my camera couldn't take the rigors of this field trip apparently -- these are some of the best photos I salvaged from it using a few recovery methods.
Pennsylvania (Spring 2008) 04/13/2008Photo album of the best photographs from a field trip taken for a structural geology course in spring 2008. There is a nice panorama of the "whaleback" seen at the Bear Valley strip mine at the end.
